Creating Motion Menus
5 Select all the buttons except the Back button. Make sure the Properties palette is open
and displays the attributes for the selected buttons.
6 From the Override pop-up menu, choose Cardiac_thumb > Stage 1.
Yo u’ve set the override behavior for all four buttons at once. Earlier, you set the default
end action for the Cardiac_cycle timeline to return to the Cardiac_main menu, but the
overrides ensure that the thumbnail menu will appear after the video is played from one
of the thumbnail buttons.
7 In the Menu Editor window, click the Cardiac_main tab.
8 Select the Play Stages button.
9 In the Properties palette, link the Play Stages button to Cardiac_thumb > Stage 1.
10 Save the project.
Creating animated thumbnail buttons
Earlier you added moving video to the background for the main menu. Now you’ll
animate the thumbnail buttons in the second menu.
1 In the Project window, select the Cardiac_thumb menu.
2 In the Properties palette, select Animate Buttons.
