Overriding Default Actions
3 To set an override, select the button to which it applies, and then use the pick whip or
the pop-up menu in the Properties dialog box to set the action.
4 In this and previous lessons, you’ve linked buttons using the following methods:
Right-click the button in the Menu Editor window, choose Link To, and then select the
destination for the link.
Select the button in the Menu Editor window, and then choose the destination from the
Link pop-up menu in the Properties palette.
Select the button in the Menu Editor window, and then use the pick whip to select the
link’s destination.
5 To use the pick whip, click the pick whip icon in the Properties palette and, continuing
to hold the mouse button down, drag it to the item you want to select in the Project
window.
