Scripts - Set 1 - Basic
Name Description
createPhysicalModel Causes the target object will now possess a physical model, and experience physics using the
property values set in the inspector palette.
distantLight (default) Causes objects which have been enabled to use dynamic lighting will be illuminated by the light,
and also cast shadows onto themselves and onto others (if enabled to do so). If the distant light
elevation and azimuth are changed, the light and its shadows will respond accordingly.
distantLight (new) Causes objects which have been enabled to use dynamic lighting will be illuminated by this light
along with others in the world.
fog ‘fog’ is a global effect for an Atmosphere world. Simply placing this script into your world will
cause a fog effect to be present. The various aspects of the fog can be set by adjusting the
properties present in the Inspector palette.
glareEffect glareEffect is a global effect for an Atmosphere world. Simply placing this script into your world
will cause objects which are set to emit light (a checkbox option in the application) to produce a
diffuse glow over and around nearby objects. The various aspects of the glareEffect can be set by
adjusting the properties present in the Inspector palette.
playSound Causes a sound to play with the specifi ed settings.
rotateContinuous Causes the target object to rotate according to the specifi ed settings.
rotateSingleEvent This script causes the target object rotate according to the property settings you have specifi ed.
useDynamicLighting Enables dynamic lighting for the target object
useDynamicLightingForActor Enables dynamic lighting for the the actor
useDynamicLightingForAll Enables dynamic lighting with the specifi ed properties for every Solid and Surface Object in the
scene
