2.4.3 GPIB Connector
The GPIB connector on PXI-3920/3910 is a micro D-sub 25P con-
nector and is used to control external bench-top instruments. You
need the ACL-IEEE488-MD1 cable to connect PXI-3920/3910 and
any instruments. The on-board GPIB controller has the following
features:
X Fully compatible with the IEEE 488 standard
X Up to 1.5MB/s data transfer rates
X On-board 1KB FIFO for read/write operations
X Provides driver APIs compatible with NI-488.2 driver soft-
ware
X Up to 14 instruments may be connected
