22 Introduction

1.6.9 COM Port connectors

The MXC-6300 provides four COM ports through D-sub 9 pin con-

nectors. The COM1 & COM2 ports support RS-232/422/485

modes by BIOS setting, while COM3 and COM4 support only RS-

232. Please refer to Section :COM 1~4, SOL(Serial Over LAN)

COM for details of BIOS COM port mode settings.

1.6.10 Display Port Connectors

Two display port connectors on the front panel can connect to

VGA, DVI, and HDMI monitors via Display port to VGA adapter

cable, Display port to DVI adapter cable, or Display port to HDMI

adapter cable.
