4.2.3 Install the Ethernet Driver
This section describes the procedure to install the Ethernet driver
of MXE-1000 series. Please note that the MXE-1005/MXE-1020
controller has only one GbE port by Realtek RTL8111C while the
MXE-1010 has one GbE port by RTL8111C and two additional
GbE ports by Intel 82574. Intel GbE driver shall be installed on the
MXE-1010 controller accordingly.
4.2.3.1 Install the Realtek GbE Driver
Note: For all MXE-1005/1010/1020 controllers.
Please follow the following steps to install the driver for Realtek
8111C Gigabit Ethernet controller.
For Windows 2000 and XP users:
1. Close any running application.
2. Insert the ADLINK All-in-One DVD. The chipset driver is
located in the directory:
x:\Driver Installation\Matrix\MXE-1000\LAN-Realtek\ 
where x: denotes the DVD-ROM drive.
3. Execute setup.exe and follow on-screen instructions to
complete the setup.
4. Reboot your system.
