3.6 Cooling Considerations
The hot components of MXE-1005/1010/1020 controller (such as
CPU, north bridge and south bridge) are all placed on the top side
of PCB. These components are directly contacted to the aluminum
top cover via thermal pads. Heat generated by components is
majorly dissipated though the aluminum top cover. To have better
efficiency of heat dissipation, please keep a minimal 2 inches (5
cm) clearance on the top side of the MXE-1005/1010/1020 con-
troller.
