3 Getting Started
This chapter discusses replacement of a hard disk drive and
installation of RAM (Random Access Memory) in the system. In
addition, COM port jumper settings and MXE-5104M wall-mount
installation are also discussed.
3.1 Replacing a Hard Disk Drive
Before replacing the hard disk drive, the front panel, rear panel,
and bottom chassis must first be removed, as follows.
1. Use a #6 (7/64 inch) hex wrench to remove all 6 screws
(M3 hex socket) from the front panel. Remove the panel
