The CMOS RAM data for real time clock (RTC) contains the date / time and

password information. The button cell battery powers the CMOS when the

system is power off.

To erase the CMOS RAM data:

1. Unplug the cPCI-6765(A).

2. Short pins 1 and 2 of JP1. Then reinstall the jumper back to normal

location.

3. Plug cPCI-6765(A) back to the chassis. Turn the power on.
