4 Remote Management

The PXIS-2719 chassis provide an advanced remote monitoring

and control function. The chassis status, including internal temper-

ature, fan speed, and DC voltages, are exported via a standard

RS-232 port located in the rear side allowing you to monitor the

system on a remote computer. You may also use a remote com-

puter to turn the system on or off through the monitoring port by

sending software commands.

To remotely monitor and control the PXIS-2719, you need to con-

nect the remote monitoring port to a remote computer using a

standard RS-232 cable.

Note: The remote monitor port is Rx-Tx/Tx-Rx crossed. You

need to use a RS-232 cable which is Rx-Rx/Tx-Tx con-

nected for the remote monitoring function.
