1.5 Unpacking Checklist

Check the shipping carton for any damage. If the shipping carton

and contents are damaged, notify the dealer for a replacement.

Retain the shipping carton and packing materials for inspection by

the dealer. Obtain authorization before returning any product to

ADLINK.

Check the following items are included in the package, if there are

any items missing, please contact your dealer:

SBC:

X The cPCI-6840 or cPCI-6840V SBC (May be equipped with

different specifications of CPU, RAM, and HDD).

X ADLINK CD

X RJ45-DB9 Cable

RTM:

X cPCI-R6840, cPCI-R6841, or cPCI-R6841P RTM

X HDD bracket and 44-pin IDE cable (cPCI-R6840/1 only)

X SATA HDD cable and power cable

X PS2 Y-cable (for cPCI-R6841(P) only)

NOTE:

The packaging of OEM versions with non-standard

configuration, functionality, or package may vary

according to different configuration requests.

CAUTION:

The boards must be protected from static discharge

and physical shock. Never remove any of the sock-

eted parts except at a static-free workstation. Use the

anti-static bag shipped with the product to handle the

board. Wear a grounded wrist strap when servicing
