8. Troubleshooting – FAQ
Frequentlyencounteredproblemsarepresentedbelowinordertohelpyousolvethem.
I am unable to communicate with other devices.
• Makesurethatallthedevicesareoperatingonthesamechannel.
• Makesurethatoneofthedeviceshasthenumber01asitsID.
The device is unable to connect to a conference.
• Makesurethattheencryptionoperationhasbeencarriedoutoneachofthedevicessothat
youcantakepartintheconference,especiallyifyouhaveaddedadevicesincetheconfe-
rencestarted.
• Donotassignthesamenumbertoseveraldevices.
The device will not switch on.
• Checkthatthebatteryischargedandhasbeenproperlyinserted.
Communication is being jammed.
• Anotherconferencesystemmustbeoperatinginyourvicinity.Changechannelsinorderto
avoidjamming.
• Makesurethatthereisnocontactbetweentheantennaandtheearphonescable.
• Makesurethatalltheterminalsareidentiedusingdifferentnumbers.
I hear crackling.
• Themicrophoneinoneofthedevicesisprobablydamaged.Replaceit.
I can hear myself speaking – there is an echo.
• Checkthatthemicrophonesinthevariousdeviceshaveaminimumdistanceof10metres
betweenthem.
The keys are not working properly.
• Makesurethatyourngerispressingtheconcavepartofthekey(wherethesymbolis).
• Donotpressmorethanonekeyatatimewithyourngerorhand.
