3. Options Menu
ThefunctiondescribedbelowintheOptionsmenuisavailableinalltheVokkeroEvolution
3versions.
a. SpeakerModeOption
Introduction:
TheSpeaker ModeoptionmakesitpossibletouseoneoftheVokkeroterminalsasa
“relay”toapublicaddresssystem.Thissystemisfrequentlyusedbyrefereesandumpires
incertainsportswhentheyhavetoannouncetheirdecisions.
Note:Thisoptioncanonlybeusedwhentheaccessorydedicatedtoit(aspecicpush-but-
ton)isused.
Procedure:
• Onthehomescreen,pressthe“Menu”keyuntiltheUser MENUisdisplayed.
• Usingthe“+”or“-”keys,accesstheOptionssub-menu.Press“OK”.
• Usingthe“+”or“-”keys,selectSpeaker Mode.Press“OK”tovalidateyourchoice.
• Usingthe“+”or“-”keys,selectOn.
• Press“OK”tovalidateyourchoice.
• Press“Menu”toreturntothehomescreen.
Onthehomescreen,theSP.Miconwillbeactivated,conrmingthatthefunctionhasbeen
startedup.
TheterminalcannowbeconnectedtoaPublicAnnouncementsystem.Onlyactivationof
thededicatedpush-button(connectedtooneormoreotherterminals)willenablevoice
broadcastingviathisterminalsettoSpeaker Mode.

b. Adjustingthe«Sidetone»
TheSidetonemodeenablesyoutoadjusttheaudioreturnlevel(enablingyoutohearyour
ownvoice)inyourheadset(orearphone)speakers.
 7volumelevelsareaccessible.
Procedure:
• AccesstheOptions menu.Press“OK”.
• AccesstheSidetonesub-menu.Press“OK”tovalidateyourchoice.
• Use“+”or“-”toadjusttheSidetonelevel.
• Press“OK”tovalidateyourchoice.
• Press“Menu”toreturntothehomescreen.
