Maintenance of user-added optional equipment is the user’s responsibility. It is not
covered in this manual.
8.1 Periodic Maintenance Schedule
Table 8-1 and Table 8-2 give a summary of the preventive maintenance procedures and
guidelines on frequency.
NOTE: The frequency of these procedures depends on the particular
system, its operating environment, and amount of usage. Use the times in
the tables as guidelines and modify the schedule as needed.
Table 8-1. Suggested Inspection and Cleaning Schedule
WARNING: The procedures and replacement of parts
mentioned in this section should be performed only by
skilled or instructed persons, as defined in Chapter 2.
The motor covers and the AIB on the robot are not
interlocked – turn off and disconnect power if these have
to be removed. Lockout and tagout power before
servicing.

wear. Clean with wipes or water.

joints and possible binding on robot.
Inspect Outer Arms 3 Months 30 Min Inspect outer arms for cracking or damage
caused by possible accidental impact of
robot. Inspect springs and bushings to look
for excessive wear.
Inspect Platform 3 Months 30 Min Inspect platform for damage caused by
possible accidental impact of robot.
