Connecting Power
The Adept SmartController EX motion controller and sDIO expansion module require filtered
24 VDC power.
NOTE:Users must provide their own power supply. Make sure the power cables and
power supply conform to the specifications that follow.

Shield Termination Braided shield connected to the marked
frame ground screw on the right side of
the controller (near the XDC con-
nector). On the other end of the cable,
the shield should be connected to the
power supply chassis.
