A system of cascaded keyboards for multiple units will be connected as follows:

Note: For connections between keyboards and between the master keyboard and the
multiplexer, cables with 8 way RJ type connectors and straight through
connectors can be used. To connect to a DVR, you must strip the wire
connectivity to pin 4 (D-) and pin 6 (D+) and push into the connections on the
DVR. Please refer to the cable / connector pin-outs on page 22.
The DVR unit ID and communication settings must be correctly set using the menus on the
DVR before it can be controlled using the HKJX8A+ keyboard.

Unit ID - 1 for DVR 1, 2 for DVR 2 etc.
