5.18 SONY DVR
5.18.1 Description
The Sony HSR-X216P DVR is able to connect16 input videos that are digitised and recorded in digital form.
Communication from keyboard to DVR is one-way.

The connection is of the RS485 type (one-way) and the maximum distance between keyboard and DVR is
1200 metres.
5.18.4 Configuring the DVR
The DVR can be configured using the local DVR keyboard or the DCT keyboard. It is necessary to configure
the RS485 communication mode and the DVR address appropriately. See the corresponding manual.
To be able to configure the DVR from the DCT keyboard setup matrixes/mux should be enabled (see §
4.2.4.5 - Functions, pag.34).
