5.17 SANYO Multiplexer
5.17.1 Description
The Sanyo MPX-CD13 multiplexer allows linking 16 video inputs that are digitised and shown in a
compound output image.
ATTENTION
in the multiplexer communications menu set the parameters for the RS485 communication and the
address of the device (refer to the relative manual)
5.17.2 Direct link
DCT RJjack1 RJjack2 JAVELIN

RS485B yellow green RS485B
The link is a one-way RS485 type, and the maximum distance between the keyboard and the multiplexer is
1,200 meters.
5.17.3 Configuration of the multiplexer
Configuration can be done through the keys on the multiplexer or using the DCT keyboard, if the multiplexer
has been previously configured for RS485 communications.
Please refer to the relative manual.
To set the multiplexer from the DCT keyboard, it must be enabled for the matrix/mux setup (see 4.2.4.5§ -
Functions, pag. 34).
