5.14 ENEO Multiplexer
5.14.1 Description
The ENEO multiplexer (VCMT-8009/8016 and VBMT-8009/8016) is able to connect 9/16 input videos that
are digitised and displayed in a composite output image. A spot service monitor will provide the display of an
individual input.
Communication from keyboard to multiplexer is one-way. It is necessary to select whether the connected
multiplexer is the black & white or colour model.
It is also possible to control the multiplexer indirectly, using one of the latest generation video matrixes
ENEO EKR-8/4 EKR-16/4 and VIDEOTEC SM-A series (SM42A, SM82A, SM84A, SM164A).
IMPORTANT NOTE!
For the new models, in the multiplexer communications menu set the following parameters as
indicated: Type: RS485, Baudrate: 9600, Port: ON, Protocol: A

The connection is of the RS485 type (one-way) and the maximum distance between keyboard and multiplexer
is 1200 metres.

The multiplexer can be controlled by a latest generation video matrixes ENEO EKR-8/4 EKR-16/4 and
