4.2.5 Password
This menu is used to make the settings for the three passwords used by the keyboard to prevent use, parameter
modification and alarm reset by unauthorised personnel.
Position the cursor next to the item to be modified and press the key.
The display will request the insertion of a 5-digit number and its subsequent reconfirmation.
If the two values are the same, the number will be recognised as the new password.
PARAMETER FUNCTION
Password at starting
This password is requested every time the keyboard is switched on.
Password for alarm reset
This password is requested before resetting matrix alarms
Password for changing
parameters
This password is requested before allowing access to the SETUP menu.
If the value 00000 is inserted, this will disable requirement of the corresponding password.
The keyboard is programmed in the factory with all passwords set to “00000”.
Warning: If the keyboard basis values are restored (see § 4.2.6.1 - Restore basis values, pag.37)
all password will take the value“00000”
