4.2.3.3.1 Autotest procedure
Proceed as follows:
Connect the cable to the telemetry A and B connectors.
Make sure the display shows the message B <-------> A
indicating that the two lines function correctly.
If, for example, different messages appear, such as: B <-------? A
T his means there are reception problems for channel A
while channel B receives correctly
Continue with the test, repeating the procedure and connecting the cable between the telemetry A and VIDEO
connectors and then connecting the cable between the telemetry B and VIDEO connectors.
For each line, A,B and V the autotest result is expressed as follows:
B ? ------- ? A : the line is not functioning and is unable to transmit or receive data
B ? ------- > A : the line is able to transmit but not receive
B < ------- ? A : the line receives but is unable to transmit
B < ------- > A : the line transmits and receives correctly.
4.2.4 Accepted values
T his menu is divided into a series of submenus that are used to set up the accepted keyboard values.
Select the desired item and press the key.
4.2.4.1 Cameras, matrix and multiplexer connected locally
This menu is used to set up the cameras that can be selected from the keyboard.
T he active camera status is indicated by the presence of the letter A or B to show that the camera is connected
to telemetry A or B.(see § 5.1 - Introduction, pag.52 e see § 4.3 - Video/telemetry control area, pag.43).
WARNING: If the camera present in the system is fixed (not equipped with Pan & Tilt
movement), if it is to be operated it must be associated with one of the two telemetries (A or B).
4.2.4.1.1 Cameras with a matrix connection
The screen will have this appearance only if a video matrix has been selected in the parameter
COMMUNICATIONS-VIDEO_TYPE.
The menu is used to set up the cameras that can be selected by the keyboard.
The keys can be used to simultaneously activate/deactivate all the cameras on the page or on one line only, or
to enter the submenu to activate individual cameras. T he status of the activated camera is indicated by the
presence of the letter A or B to show that the camera is connected to telemetry A or B.
On the VIDEO connector it is possible to set up the accepted values of 10000 cameras.
