4 CONFIGURING THE KEYBOARD
4.1 Description of the system
4.1.1 How to interact with the keyboard
The keyboard is provided with a touch screen, which means that a sheet of material sensitive to finger pressure
is superimposed on the glass of the display.
T he display shows images, each with a specific meaning, and pressing one of these will obtain a sound signal
and will send commands to interact with the system.
4.1.2 Switching on the system
When the keyboard is powered, the system will show a system presentation screen and then pass on to show
the MAIN menu unless the starting password has been enabled, in which case insert the code and confirm.
4.1.3 Main Menu
The purpose of this section is to introduce the user to the system so that he can familiarise himself with some
concepts and operational aspects.
The MAIN menu is the starting point from which all the keyboard functions are carried out. It is divided into
areas. Each area is used to carry out particular functions.
The following image shows only one of the possible system configurations. So do not worry if the image
appearing on your display is slightly different.
