6.17 VIDEOTEC receivers with the Macro Protocol
6.17.1 Notes
The Macro protocol covers a wide range of products with vastly different functions. Refer to the receiver
manual for information on which functions are available.

6.17.3 Configuring the receivers
T he latest generation of VIDEOT EC receivers allow the choice between two types of protocol (VIDEOT EC
and Macro).
This section refers only to the MACRO protocol.
Configure the receiver appropriately as described in the corresponding manual.
Connect the receiver directly to the keyboard and a monitor to the dome video output following the general
procedure (see § 6.18 - Procedure for setting a dome/receiver in operation, pag.191).
6.17.4 Connecting the hardware
T he VIDEOT EC and Linxs receivers can be connected directly to the keyboard using one of the telephone
cables supplied with the keyboard (for testing and control) or using the standard connection cable, for distances
up to 1200 m (see § 3.3 - One keyboard per line: standard connection cable, pag.16).
6.17.5 Autopan
From the MAIN menu press the AUTOPAN key to enter the menu for carrying out the specific function.
START AUTOPAN
Carries out the corresponding function.
STOP AUTOPAN
Stops the AUTOPAN function.
TOGGLE AUTOPAN
Reverses the current status. If in progress it stops the function and vice versa.
