6.16.2 Configuring the receivers
T he latest generation of VIDEOT EC receivers allow the choice between two types of protocol (VIDEOT EC
and Macro).
This section refers only to the VIDEOTEC protocol.
Connect the receiver directly to the keyboard and a monitor to the dome video output following the general
procedure (see § 6.18 - Procedure for setting a dome/receiver in operation, pag.191).
6.16.3 Connecting the hardware
T he VIDEOT EC and Linxs receivers can be connected directly to the keyboard using one of the telephone
cables supplied with the keyboard (for testing and control) or using the standard connection cable, for distances
up to 1200 m (see § 3.3 - One keyboard per line: standard connection cable, pag.16).
