6.9.8 Patrol (PATTERN)
From the MAIN menu press the PATROL key to enter the menu for carrying out the movement controls.
START PATTERN 1…3
Used to perform the corresponding Pattern
STOP PATTERN
Used to stop the corresponding Pattern.
START PATROL
Used to carry out Patrol.
STOP PATROL
Used to stop Patrol.
The function stops when the position of the movement in progress is reached (also in the case of
joystick operation).
6.9.9 Preset, Scan and Home
Important note!
The 'Scan' and 'Patrol' instructions given in the dome manual do not correspond to the generally
accepted usage in this manual: for practical purposes the functions take the 'standard' meanings
and not those suggested by the dome manual:
 ‘preset’ means to store the current position
 ‘scan’ means the pan & tilt movement towards a previously stored position; in the dome
manual this function is called ‘preset’
 ‘patrol’ means a series of ‘scans’, where the previously stored positions are shown one after
the other in sequence; in the dome manual this function is called ‘scan’.
The PRESET, SCAN and HOME functions are as described in the general explanation with the following
limitations specific to the dome (see § 4.4.7.1 - Preset, pag.47 e see § 4.4.8 - SCAN MENU, pag.49).
