2 DESCRIPTION OF THE KEYBOARD
2.1 Features
The keyboard is a product for professional use in security and surveillance sector applications.
In a security system the keyboard is used to control video switching, to manage possible alarm events and for
remote control of digitally controlled receivers.
2.1.1 Keyboard
 Backlit LCD, 320x240 pixel, provided with Touch Screen
 Easy to use: the most frequent operations are carried out by pressing a single key
 Telemetry control using the 3-axis joystick (PAN/TILT/ZOOM)
 Integrated GRAPH environment with the opportunity to customise images and keys

 Complete keyboard configuration by on screen setup
 Selection of national language
 Control of a vast range of high speed domes and receivers
 Acceptance/disabling of output and input can be controlled by each keyboard
 Acceptance/disabling of groups of functions
 Autotest of communication channels
 RS485 communication lines
2.1.3 Security
 Communication failure and alarm buzzers
 3 password levels, configurable individually in each keyboard:
1. password at starting: required when the keyboard is switched on, to prevent use by unauthorised
personnel
2. alarm reset password : required for resetting an alarm event from the keyboard
3. setup password: required when a setup is needed (for both the keyboard and the matrix)
Each password consists of a series of 5 digits and can be disabled by setting it to 00000.
