6.1.3 Communication problems between keyboard and receiver
If a receiver does not respond to the controls check the following:
does the receiver model connected to the telemetry line (A or B) use the protocol setting for the telemetry
line?
does the receiver number correspond to the one shown on the display?
does the receiver baud rate correspond to the setting for the telemetry line?
does the telemetry line in question output to a video cable or a dedicated connector?
has the connection between keyboard and receiver been made correctly?
if passing through an SM matrix, has the matrix been configured correctly?
The information concerning which device is being controlled is easy to obtain by using the key (see §
4.2.7 - System Information and service menu, pag.42).
6.1.4 Conventional terminology
The terms “ Video programming”, “ On Screen Menu” and “ OSM” should be considered as equivalent.
In the users' manuals for the domes they are used indifferently.
The term "toggle" means “ reverse the status”: if a parameter is active, after a “ toggle” it will be deactivated
and vice versa.
T he term “ camera” and “ telecamera” should be considered as equivalent.
