CUSTOMER INSTRUCTIONS
TO SET SYSTEM
(Turn on)
The DAY indicator should be showing. Enter
your code number. Check that the system is
clear (none of the zone indicators arc showing).
If clear. the sounder will produce a bleep tone
and you may now leave by the correct route.
The system will set at the
end of exit time.
If the
system is not clear. the sounder will produce a
broken tone and the zone indicator will display
the fault. Either. enter your code to turn off
and investigate the cause of the fault, or omit
the faulty zone from the system.
TO UNSET THE SYSTEM (Turn off)
Enter your code, if the system i\ clear (no alarm
has been activated) the unit will return to
DAY. If the system has been activated. then
entering the code will turn off the sounders and
the cause of the alarm will be displayed. Press
RESET to clear the indication and return
to
DAY.
TO OMIT ANY ZONE FROM THE SYSTEM.
Starting from thc DAY modc. Enter code and
the exit time begins Press OMIT and the exit
tone will now change to an omit tone. Enter the
zone numbers you wish to omit e.g. pressing
2
then 4 will remove zoncs two and four from the
system. The zone two and four leds will flash to
show correct selection.
If you make a mistake
and a wrong zone number is pressed then press
0, this will cancel the previous selection and
allow another zone to be omitted. When the
selection is correct press
SET. the unit will now
return to exit modc and the timer will continue.
Thc maximum number
of zones which may be
omitted at any one time is three.
TO QUICK SET THE SYSTEM
During the exit time the system may be set
quickly by pressing SET. This removes the time
normally allowed for exit, and would be used
if
you are not leaving the premises. If you omit
part of the system and require quick set. press
SET twice.
POWER INDICATORS
A red power indicator should be showing at all
times. on both the power supply and the
keypad. If either indicator gocs out call the
engineer to check the system.
