 Firmware Upgrade

Firmware upgrade is to update your SAFARI UE with the latest firmware. Please refer to your

respective distributor for your firmware download.

Warning:

DO NOT abort the upgrading process or unplug the power of the SAFARI UE during

the firmware upgrade process at any time. Doing so will corrupt the existing firmware

loaded onto the SAFARI UE.

Follow these steps to upgrade the firmware for your SAFARI UE:

1. Download or acquire the new firmware from your respective distributor and save it in

your computer‟s hard drive.

Note:

Make sure the SAFARI UE is switched on and connected to the desktop/laptop

computer using the LAN cable.

2. Select Firmware Upgrade.

Read the Disclaimer message carefully before proceeding with the Firmware

Upgrade.

3. Click Firmware Upgrade.

The SAFARI UE will reboot into Safe mode.

Note: All LEDs will turn to amber color and start blinking, which means it’s on

Safe mode.

4. The SAFARI Web console will appear. Re-log in using the provided username and

password.
