Generally, PBX supports call transfer function when VoIP gateway provides the
VoIP service via PBX. However, if analog phone is connected to VoIP
gateway’s FXS ports directly, AddPac VoIP gateway supports the call transfer
function for PBX’s call transfer function role.
AddPac VoIP gateway supports the call transfer service as a default function
or activates the call transfer service using following commands
dial-peer call-transfer h
In above example, call transfer function is activated by hook-flash. If user wants
to deactivate the call transfer function, no dial-peer call-transfer or dial-peer
call-transfer n commands can be used.
To explain the call transfer function, we should know called partys that
participate the call transfer scenario. Basically, call transfer scenario is
extension of call hold scenario.
