Getting into the VoiceFinder AP160 User’s Manual
This chapter provides the overview of the VoiceFinder AP160 gateway user’s
manual and an explanation of the symbols and legends involved.
In this manual, we only explain the AP160 specific configuration and
commands. Please refer the AP200 user’s guide about the other part or
common part of VoiceFinder series.

[Composition of the Manual]
The VoiceFinder AP160 user’s manual serves to assist the operation of the AP160
dial-up VoIP gateway. This manual is composed of 4 chapters and 1
Appendixes as the following :
The user experienced with gateway may refer directly to the chapters as
needed. But those less experienced are highly recommended to thoroughly
understand the manual before operation of the gateway.
z Chapter 1 『 VoiceFinder AP160 Overview』provides an introduction to
the hardware and software features of VoiceFinder AP160 and technical
support request method.
z Chapter 2 『Before Installation』provides the installation environment and
cable requirements, along with recommendations for safe operation of the
equipment.
z Chapter 3 『 Installation and Operation Environment』explains the basics
for connecting with LAN, Async Modem and Console Port
z Chapter 4 『 Gateway Configuration and Commands』explains in detail
about configuring the user Interface and the corresponding commands
along with configuration examples. This chapter provides important
information and requires comprehensive understanding.
