If receiving this as an update you will not be receiving a new binder or index tabs, just the
new documentation and cover inserts for your binder. If you were a early purchaser
of the first version and did not receive a binder, let us know and we'll send you one. If
this is an update, please destroy all copies of the original software and documentation
and return the original distribution disks to Quikdata. NOTE: You will have to unload your
Winchester, install all the new software, and then load it up again! All data will be lost when
running the new partition program!
POSSIBLE PROBLEM FOR H8 USERS: All partition code and boot tables utilize automatic baud
sensing and ANSI/HEATH ROM detection and setting as designed for the H19/H89
terminals. Heath/Zenith said the H29 was compatible with the H19 - THIS IS NOT TRUE!! The
automatic baud sensing does not presently work with the H/Z29, and perhaps now with the
H/Z49, H/Z22, etc. We are trying to solve this problem, but thus far have been unable to
do this. If you have a non-H19 terminal, this software will not work for you. Return it at
once for credit. If and when a version is released to compensate for the lies of Heath
and Zenith in regard to the other terminals, you will be notified if you request that.
