Connect the serial cable from the Z67-IDE controller to the PC COM 1 port as shown below;
Pin 1 = Ground (Black Cable) -> Connects to DB9 pin 5 (GND)
Pin 2 = Transmit Data (Red Cable) -> Connects to DB9 pin 2 (RXD)
Pin 3 = Receive Data (Green cable) -> Connects to DB9 pin 3 (TXD)
