VSCD3 cable to primary video output port

Use a DVI-D Dual Link cable (such as
Adder part: VSCD3) to connect the
primary video port of the computer
systemtotheDVI-D-1connectorof
theALIF2000.Aduallinkcablemust
also be used at the RX unit.

ALIF units support DVI digital video
signals and so use DVI-D video
connectors throughout.
• ALIF1000modelscansupport
a single high resolution DVI-D
video display at pixel clocks up
to165MHz(equatingtoan
exampledisplaymodeof1920x
1200at60Hzrefresh).
• ALIF2000modelscansimultaneouslysupportuptotwoSingleLinkhigh
resolutionvideodisplaysatpixelclocksupto165MHz;orcanalternatively
support a single Dual Link very high Resolution video display at pixel clocks
upto330MHz(equatingtoanexampledisplaymodeof2560x1600at60
Hz refresh).
To make a video link
1 Whereverpossible,ensurethatpowerisdisconnectedfromtheALIFandthe
host computer.
2 ConnectadigitalvideolinkcabletotheDVI-Dsocket(ALIF1000)orDVI-D-1
(ALIF2000)ontheTXunitrearpanel:

3 Connect the plug at the other end of the cable to the corresponding DVI-D
video output socket of the host computer.
