Owner's Manual
Failure to properly maintain your firearm can be potentially dangerous causing property damage , bodily
injury or death. The rifle should be given a thorough cleaning after each use. It does not matter whether you
fired 1 round or 100 rounds.
The rifle should be cleaned anytime it has been exposed to adverse weather conditions ( i.e., rain, snow, fog,
heat and humidity).
Point the rifle in a safe direction.
Place the selector switch on SAFE. Remove the magazine from the rie (if loaded)
by depressing the magazine release.
Remove round from the chamber by pulling either charging handle to the rear and engage the
lower portion of the bolt catch simultaneously. This will lock the bolt carrier to the rear.
NOTE: This same procedure should be followed even if the rifle is not loaded.
Push the charging handle forward until it locks into its original position. Make sure the chamber
and magazine well are empty. Perform this procedure twice.
