writing about your tuner, be sure to include the model and serial number of your
unit, as well as the date
of
purchase and the dealer from whom the unit was purchased.

returned to us for service, you will be instructed as to the proper procedure when you

If
an
outside antenna is connected to the tuner, be sure the antenna system is grounded so
as
to provide some protection against voltage surges and built up static charges. Section
81

of
the National
Electrical Code, ANSIINFPA No.
70-1978,
provides information with respect to proper grounding
of
the
mast
and
supporting structure, grounding
of
the lead-in wire to
an
antenna discharge unit, size
of
grounding conductors, location of antenna·discharge unit, connection to grounding electrodes, and
requirements for the grounding electrode.
