This table provides a description of the Filtering Rules Configuration window.

Parameter Description
Access List
Number
Index number that identifies the access list. Valid range 1 -
16384.
Action Action to be taken against matching packets including Deny,
Permit, or Change TOS. The default is Deny.
Rule Number Number identifying the precedence of this rule within the
access list. Smaller rule numbers result in greater precedence.
This means that rules are processed from lower to higher rule
numbers.
