Viewing Advanced Route Information

You may also display advanced routing information for each route entry. To

view the advanced information, follow this procedure:

1. In the Discovered Routes window, click the Advanced tab.

2. Click Refresh to update the information.

Parameter Descriptions

This table provides a description of the Discovered Routes Advanced Routing

window

Table 12-22 Discovered Routes Advanced Routing Window Parameters.

Network Mask Subnet mask for the destination network.

Metric 1 Measure of distance to the destination. For RIP routes, this is

the next hop. For OSPF routes, this is the cost.

Route Type Indicates how the route was learned and put into the routing

table.

Parameter Description

Destination IP address of the destination network.
