This table provides a description of the IP Configuration ARP window.
Table 12-3 ARP Window Parameters
Parameter Description
Chassis/Slot/Inte
rface
Indicates the chassis, slot, and interface for which you wish to
add an IP interface.
Enable ARP
Timeout
Checking the box enables ARP cache entries for which there
have been no traffic to timeout. Clearing the box disables
timeout.
ARP Timeout
(seconds)
Timeout interval for ARP cache entries. The default value is
600 seconds.
IP Address Source IP address for packets originating at the interface.
MAC Address MAC address of the attached device.
Type Indicates if the ARP entry is dynamic or static.
