HAPTER 5: CABLING THE SYSTEM
■ Before proceeding with connecting the power lines to the system, check
your work area for possible hazards such as ungrounded power extension
cables and moist floors.
You need a No. 1 phillips screwdriver to connect power to the fan tray.
1. If you haven’t already done so, review “Electrical Safety Guidelines and
Precautions” on page 59.
2. Earth ground the fan tray assembly by connecting the ground wire to the
two grounding terminals on the back of the fan tray using the
anti-rotational lug, as shown in Figure 5-16.
