set prompt
Use this command to change the CLI prompt. By default, the prompt displays both the IP address
of the management module and the current mode. You can configure the prompt so this
information is not displayed.
Mode
Any.
Syntax
set prompt [mode]
Arguments
Example
The following example removes the IP address and current mode from the prompt, then sets
the prompt back to its default display.
cli:172.16.19.10:root# set prompt
cli# set prompt mode
cli:172.16.19.10:root#
mode Configures the prompt to display the IP address of the
management module and the current mode.
