CONFIGURING ALARMS
You can configure four different alarm options:
• HDSL ES Alarm Threshold determines the number of errored seconds
that must occur to trigger an alarm
• HDSL Margin Alarm Threshold determines the margin, in dB, that
triggers an alarm
• Alarm on Local I/F LOS lets you enable or disable the local Loss of
Signal alarm
• Alarm on Remote I/F LOS lets you enable or disable the remote Loss of
Signal alarm
To configure the alarm options:
1 From the Main Menu, type then press . The System Settings
Menu displays.
2 Type then press . The System Parameters menu displays.
3 ENTER
