2 Type then press . The SNMP Configuration menu displays.
3 Continue with the following sections to enter the required parameters
and, if desired, enable authentication error trap generation.
Entering Required SNMP Parameters
To set the required parameters:
1 From the SNMP Configuration menu, type then press . The
system prompts you to enter the Read Only Comm String.
2 Type Public, or another string of up to 32 characters then press .
The SNMP Configuration menu displays.
3 Type then press . The system prompts you to enter the Read
Write Comm String.
4 Type Private, or another string of up to 32 characters as prompted then
press . The SNMP Configuration menu displays.
