Configuring the Alarm
To enable or disable the local Loss of Signal alarm:
1 From the CURRENT ALARMS display, press Next twice. LOCAL I/F
ALARMS CONFIG & STATUS displays.
2 Press Enter. The current status of the local alarm displays.
3 Press Next. LOC LOSS OF SIG ALM displays.
4 Press Enter.
5 Press Next to scroll through the settings for the alarm.
6 Press Enter to select the desired setting. LOC LOSS OF SIG ALM
displays.
Remote Alarms
Loss of Signal (LOS) alarms can occur on the remote unit. This section
describes how to view and configure this alarm.
Viewing Current Alarms
If the CURRENT ALARMS display indicates a remote alarm, you can
determine the alarm type:
1 From the CURRENT ALARMS display, press Next three times. RMT I/F
ALARMS CONFIG & STATUS displays.
2 Press Enter. The current status of the remote alarm displays.
