7.7.1 Alarm Source
Unison always acts an alarm source, no matter what type of equipment you are con-
necting to. Refer to Section 7.7.2 on page 7-45 if you want Unison to sense LGCell
contact closures or other external alarms.
Using MetroReach Focus to Monitor Unison
When you connect MetroReach Focus to Unison, the Unison Main Hub is the output
of the alarms (alarm source) and Focus is the input (alarm sense), as shown in the fol-
lowing figure. Focus supports only faults (major errors).
