CAUTION! This is restricted access equipment and only qualified service personnel should service and
operatethisequipmentusingappropr iatetools.
CAUTION! Wetconditionsincreasethepotentialforreceivingan electricalshockwheninstallingorusing
electrically‐powered equipment. To prevent electrical shock, never install or use electrical
equipmentinawetlocationor
duringalightningsto rm.
CAUTION! Alwaysallowsufficientfiberlengthtopermitroutingofpatchcordsandpigtailswithoutsevere
bends.Fiberopticpatchcordsorpigtails maybepermanentlydamaged ifbentorcurvedto a
radiusoflessthan2inches(5.1cm).
CAUTION! ExteriorsurfacesofthePrismRemoteUnit
maybehot.Usecautionduringservicing.
CAUTION! Servicepersonnelmustconfirmthattheperimetergasketanddoor‐to‐doorgasketsareinplace
whenclosingthePrismdoorsafterservicing.
CAUTION! ThisequipmentusesaClass1LaseraccordingtoFDA/CDRHrules.Laserradiationcanseriously
damagetheretinaoftheeye.
Donotlookintotheendsofanyopticalfiber.Donotlookdirectly
into the optical transceiver of any digital unit or exposure to laser ra diation may result. An
opticalpowermetershouldbeusedtoverifyactivefibers.AprotectivecaporhoodMUSTbe
immediately placed over any
radiating transceiver or optical fiber connector to avoid the
potentialofdangerousamountsofradiationexposure.Thispracticealsopreventsdirtparticles
fromenteringtheadapterorconnector.
CAUTION! Thissystemisan RFTransmitterand continuously emitsRFenergy.Maintain3 foot(91.4cm)
minimum clearance from the antenna while the
system is operating. Whereverpossible, shut
downtheRANbeforeservicingtheantenna.
