MINIMUM EMS SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
The computer that you use to remotely access the EMS must meet the following
minimum requirements:
• Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating system
• Internet Explorer version 7.x or FireFox 3.6
• Network Interface Card (NIC)
• Ethernet cable with RJ-45 connectors.
The EMS database can also be accessed remotely using an SNMP manager. In this
case, the user interface varies depending on the SNMP manager, but the
underlying parameters, parameter values, and alarms are the same as in the
standard EMS interface.
