9.2 RESETTING THE HOST UNIT
11 In the Function Explorer Tree, select
System View
, and then click on the Host name
node to open the
Host Summary
view in the EMS View Frame.

Only a user logged in under the admin or a Network Manager account can change Prism
system settings t
hrough the EMS.
Resetting the Host Unit results in a Loss of Service condition for the Host and connected
Remotes unt
il the Host comes back up. Depending on the system configuration, it can
take 5 to 20 minutes for man
agement communication to be restored.
