700 Turn the DC power switch to its ON position.
Under normal operating conditions, the Host responds as follows:
aa Immediately—PWR LED turns Green
bb Within 6 to 7 seconds—ALARM, SYNTH, and SW FLT LEDs turn Red
cc Approximately 10 seconds—ALARM LED goes out
dd Approximately 30 seconds—SYNTH LED goes out
ee Approximately 1 minute—SW FLT LED goes out
ff Approximately 2.5 minutes—Craft port assigns IP Address to Laptop,
making Telnet management through the Craft port available
gg Approximately 3 minutes—SYNTH LED turns Green
hh Approximately 5 minutes—Element Management System (EMS) available on
Craft port (1 - 2 minutes after SYNTH LED turns Green)
