RAU Front Panel
Ref # Description
1 75 Ohm Type-F Connector The RAU has one type-F female connector on its front pan
el that connects it to a Fusion
Wideband Hub using CATV 75 Ohm cable. Use RG-59, 6, or 11 solid copper center
conductor cables.
Note: For system performance, it is important that you use o
nly low loss, solid copper
center conductor CATV cable with quality F connectors that use captive centerpin
conductors. Refer to “Appendix A: Cables and Connectors” on page 191 for
specific information.
2 LINK LED Indicates whether the RAU is receiving power and communications from
the Fusion
Wideband Main Hub.
3 ALARM LED Indicates whether the RAU has any active alarm states.
